Conservation Easements Add to Emerald Necklace Greenbelt

The Land Trust today announced that it recently accepted conservation easements that will secure 47 acres of woodland bordering Cornell University’s Arnot Forest and a 35-acre parcel of forest within Deputron Hollow in Danby.

Conservation Grants Awarded Statewide: Land Trust to Leverage State and Matching Funds for Southern Tier

Conservation Partnership Program grants totaling $1.4 million were awarded to 53 nonprofit land trusts across the state, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and the Land Trust Alliance announced in Rochester yesterday.
